We specialize in "small-to-medium" home repairs and maintenance tasks that are too small for a general contractor but too complex for a DIY project. This includes furniture assembly, mounting TVs/shelves, minor plumbing (leaky faucets), minor electrical (replacing fixtures), and general "honey-do" lists.
We typically operate on a scheduled basis, but we do leave room for "priority" repairs when possible. If you have a burst pipe or a safety issue, please call directly to check our immediate availability.
The easiest way is to send us a clear photo of the project via info@herhavenhomeservices.com. Most small jobs can be quoted remotely, while larger projects may require a brief on-site consultation.
Either way! We can pick up standard materials (lumber, paint, hardware) for a small sourcing fee, or you can have everything ready for me when we arrive. If you have a specific aesthetic in mind (like a certain faucet or light fixture), it’s usually best if you purchase that beforehand.

Yes. We carry full General Liability Insurance to protect your home and our business. We’re happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request for your peace of mind.
Please ensure the work area is clear of clutter and that any pets are secured in another room. If we are working on plumbing or electrical, please show us where the main shut-off valves or breaker panels are located.
We stand by our craftsmanship. If something isn't right, let us know within 30 days and we will return to fix it at no additional cost to you.

For the first visit, yes. We prefer to walk through the project with you to ensure we’re on the same page. For recurring maintenance or exterior work, we can discuss "key-less" entry options once we’ve established a working relationship.
Absolutely! Many clients find the best value in booking a "Handywoman for a Day" (8 hours). We can knock out your entire to-do list in one go—from fixing that loose cabinet hinge to power washing the porch.
Absolutely. Our goal is to leave your home cleaner than we found it. We bring our own vacuum and cleaning supplies to ensure no sawdust or debris is left behind.
